This event is hosted by Quality Bicycle Products. When we arrived at Snow Basin it was 48 degrees and raining. What the heck!? It was time to ride! I grabbed the mint green SS Karate Monkey from <a href=\"http:\/\/surlybikes.com\" target=\"_blank\">Surly<\/a> and headed up the trails. I figured I would try a couple of them out. Wow! The new Salsas were amazing. The Pony Rustler had the same frame as the existing carbon Horsethief but was a 27.5+ platform. I ended up meeting up with our friend Kyle from <a href=\"http:\/\/goldensaddlecyclery.com\" target=\"_blank\">Golden Saddle Cyclery<\/a> in LA. Man ohhhh man did it eat up the trial. So fun to ride! The Marrakesh has two different frame geometries depending on the flatbar or dropbar set up. The bike comes spec&#8217;d with a brooks saddle, rear Salsa rack, Scwalbe tires, and a full Shimano Deore group for $1599. QBP always does a rockstar job of accommodating all of the dealers and making sure everyone is well informed on the new products. It was wonderful to see old friends from around the country and share some time on the trails together.
