Chris, Tom and India (the dog) spent a couple days backpacking, hiking, climbing, camping and having some fun on Crane Mountain in the Adirondack Mountains. \u00a0 \u00a0The mountain is at 3,241 feet above Sea Level. \u00a0 \u00a0 The hike is steep and well worth the trip. \u00a0 \u00a0There is a pond (the locals call it a pond, but if you have living in SoCal it is a large lake). \u00a0The pond is about 2,700 feet and you can camp on the shore. \u00a0There is a fire pit at a site near the water with a boulder to throw your tent up and have and epic view. \u00a0 \u00a0The sunset is spectacular. \u00a0The guys visited on the last days of summer and the leaves were just beginning to change color. \u00a0 \u00a0The weather was crisp and cold, it was down to the 40’s at night. \u00a0 \u00a0Probably because the guys went on a weekday, there was nobody around. \u00a0 \u00a0 Pretty much perfect overnight. \u00a0 Put this on your bucket list. \u00a0It is worth a day of your life to go.<\/p>\n
