Big Bear, but first and Advocate sale….

Andre stopped by to by the Advocate Hayduke during the final moments of Chris packing up for Big Bear. Kinda great series of events for the bike industry. Advocate cares about getting more people on bikes. Chris is bringing everyone to Big Bear for the weekend camping and riding. Naturally, a big encouragement went to Andre to join in.

This is a photo of where we are going for the weekend. FYI. Please bring a chair for the campfire. Bring water, not potable water. And.......Chris is going to drive up Friday around 3 PM and might not be able to answer questions during the drive, so please prepare ahead and look at a physical map. GPS, iPhones, etc...might not work in the mountain so having a physical map and a general idea of directions is a good idea. Here is the vague directions form the Forest Service. Goes without saying, this is not the Gospel. Continue westbound on Big Bear Blvd/SR-18 into the City of Big Bear Lake. From State Highway 18, west of the village, turn left on to Millcreek Road. Proceed past Aspen Glen Picnic Area, 0.4 of a mile and turn left to continue on to Millcreek Road to Forest Road 2N10. Proceed on 2N10 for 0.8 mile to the end of pavement. Continue on 2N10 past Cedar Lake turnoff. Proceed on 2N10 to 2N08 (7.9 miles from the Cedar Lake turnoff). Go left on 2N08 and proceed 0.6 of a mile to 2N45Yk, turn right.
