Start with a ready-to-go belt blank, or learn how to cut your own strap straight from a hide for the full maker experience. It's an immersive, fun process you won't forget.
With guidance from our experienced leathersmith, you'll learn the basics of leatherworking while putting your own spin on every detail. By the end, you'll walk out with a custom, one-of-a-kind belt you made yourself—start to finish.

- Get introduced to leather fundamentals, including hide types and grain structure
- Select your leather from a range of colors (specialty options like buffalo leather may be available based on supply)
- Choose your hardware in antique brass or antique silver
- Personalize your belt with accessories, letter stamping, and custom design details

Can I bring my own designs and templates to the workshop?
Not at this time. To make the best use of the time, we provide templates for the belt so everyone can learn together basic techniques such as cutting and riveting.
Do you host private parties?
Yes, we host private parties and can accommodate up to 6-8 people. For larger groups, please keep in mind that the class may take more time due to the limited number of cutting tools and machines at our studio.
Can I add embellishments to the belt?
Yes, we encourage you to be creative and add personal touches to the belt you're making. You can add a variety of embellishments such as studs and rivets to the belt. We also have various die-cuts to cut out fun shapes to attach to the belt.
