Saturday, May 19 8 AM Ride

We will do a regular Saturday Ride on May 19.
We might go down Sullivan, so if you want distance a group to go a bit faster, so we can get back by 11, this might be a good weekend. The singletrack at the bottom of Sullivan is fun, and we want to hit it.

Camping Trip up into Topanga State Park.

There is a campground 1 mile away at Topanga State Park. Grab your Fargo, Long Haul Trucker, Aurora, Vaya, Arkel, Ortleib, Old Man Mountain bikes, racks and gear for a practice overnight. Or, just ride up for a few hours in the evening to hang out.

The directions are super easy for camping:
From Topanga Creek Bicycles:
Head South on Topanga Canyon Blvd. Go .2 miles
Take Left on Canyon Trail Go .4 miles.
Turn Left (see arrow in picture). Go up.
That’s right. it is 6/10 of a mile to the entrance.
FYI, there is one miserable hill.
Bring $7 in exact change for the park fee to camp overnight, but it doesn’t cost anything to hang out and have fun, but bring food if you can.
Save this email so you can go on your own, too.
