Eldon called a few weeks ago from the midwest. He was on the way to our area and wanted to have a Niner for his time in SoCal. We prepared it and sent him a photo last week. Seems no one could visit his office without seeing the photo. Nice. Seems he likes the bike as much as the photo. Even nicer.

The purpose for the ride tomorrow at 8 AM is to have fun. Showing up on time is best so we can ride for a couple hours. Breaking up into a few groups as appropriate for fun is common. Hills, trails, and fun.

Silvi is headed to a bucolic Scandinavian island with her customized Salsa Vaya. We casually asked her how many people live on the island, and she said two others live there. Wow, and one doesn’t ride a bike. So we hope that 50% of the people riding bicycles on the island have a great time on their Salsa Vaya’s from us.
Here’s a familiar smiling face: Kevin has been patiently awaiting the arrival of a Salsa Spearfish 1 and is smitten. It’s the most beautiful thing this side of his XX1 Krampus, Mukluk, Fargo….and the list goes on. Awesome bike. It goes really fast.
Kurt has been dreaming of a Surly Krampus w/ a Rohloff and today it became a reality. He was all grins as he rode off to hit some dirt.
