Desirae & Cliff came in looking for a Salsa Marrakesh for Desirae to ride around town, go to the local Farmers Market, and tour in their near future. Unfortunately Salsa was out of stock of Marrakeshes in her size, but had framesets available, and being the nice guys that we are, we ordered the appropriate frame size and swapped over the parts from the Marrakesh we had in stock. Jay built it and they stopped by on a rainy Saturday and she loved it at first sight. Awesome. Thanks guys!
Our buddy David entered a race on the East Coast for us and made the podium. Congrats. This is naturally igniting the racing fire we had set aside. Time to get enjoy some races. First off, Sea Otter Classic. And, look for us at some 6/12 or 24 hour events before the year is over.
We camped in Ojai for UnPredict Your Wednesday. An evening by campfire with leather mugs Rogue Journeymen style.

Lee picked up his new Salsa Fargo today. Lee has had road bikes and mountain bikes and tried a bunch of adventures bikes and was stoked for the Salsa Fargo. Look for him immediately on the hills and trails above Ventura and Ojai.
Taylor stopped by with his brother who was asking about some widgets for a new frame. Low and behold, Taylor gets a Salsa Mariachi. This moment, the two of them are riding in Topanga. Terrific way to ride. Get a new bike with your brother and hit the trails on a crisp Spring evening. (Hey Jay, nice photo bomb.)

We motivated to the Carizzo Plain this week to see the wildflowers. After camping overnight (not having reservations and joined some others) we found a 7 mile single track above the plain exploding with Spring flowers. Great great great day.
We had a great ride this week. The flowers were amazing, the trails were tacky and ideal. The weather started out cold and became excellent. A great great ride and terrific group of people.
