Tony has been planning a new bike for a while and today was the day to pick up his Jones. Red frame with a black truss fork is very uncommon along with everything about the build. Look for Tony everywhere. His bike can take him there.

Juan was like a kid on Christmas morning hoping his new bike would be waiting for him as he stood at the gate exactly when we were opening up from our weekend in Big Bear. His new Surly Long Haul Trucker was under the oak tree and here is Juan ready to hit the road for adventures.
Andre stopped by to by the Advocate Hayduke during the final moments of Chris packing up for Big Bear. Kinda great series of events for the bike industry. Advocate cares about getting more people on bikes. Chris is bringing everyone to Big Bear for the weekend camping and riding. Naturally, a big encouragement went to Andre to join in.
This is a photo of where we are going for the weekend. FYI. Please bring a chair for the campfire. Bring water, not potable water. And…….Chris is going to drive up Friday around 3 PM and might not be able to answer questions during the drive, so please prepare ahead and look at a physical map. GPS, iPhones, etc…might not work in the mountain so having a physical map and a general idea of directions is a good idea.
Here is the vague directions form the Forest Service. Goes without saying, this is not the Gospel.

Eric has been joining us on our Saturday Morning shop rides for the past few months, and he was looking for a new bike to hit the trails with. Thanks again and we hope you have an amazing time on your trip through Yellowstone!
Colin and Dani stopped by the Outpost to get setup for a pair of Surly Long Haul Trucker touring bikes for their upcoming trip from Los Angeles to New York. They were so excited that they rode them home. Thank you guys and we hope you both have a wonderful trip!
Salsa Cycles is doubling down on getting adventure bikes out into the wild. Great news for us and UnPredict Your Journey folks. For a very limited time, you get two bikes for the price of one Bucksaw. A Vaya is included. Wow. If you join us for the camping trip in Big Bear at the end of the month, (August 26-28), you can ride Skyline on a Bucksaw and the Vaya around the lake and fire roads. Just kinda perfect bike combo for SoCal.
