We will ride at 8 AM for a couple hours. Always hills, always fun and always a good crowd of people. While we are thoughtful, this isn’t a ride for absolute beginners.

We didn’t want to promise Jackie that her Long Haul Trucker would be ready for the weekend and she was preparing to ride her old bike on a trip to Santa Barbara via train and bike ride back. When Jeovany called her this afternoon she showed up right away. So much fun. We are so glad she is already headed out on adventure with her new bike.
UnPredict Your Wednesday happened in Big Bear this week. After the shop closed on Tuesday Chris and Andrew took off for Big Bear (and stopping for dinner at a diner. The guys drove up to Skyline Drive and parked at that big helicopter landing at the top of the dirt road area. They rode for a long time, naturally Chris got them lost for a bit. Somewhere in the mountain around 12:30 AM they camped. The guys woke up to an amazing day and scenery. After a really leisurely coffee time / breakfast with oatmeal in the heart of nowhere, they rode the super fun single track Skyline Trail back. Here is a photo documentary of the trip.
Tricia wanted just the right bike and Jeovany was on task to make it happen. Brooks Saddle, matching bar tape and The Official Intergalactic Surly Regional racks on a Surly Trucker happened and we weren’t sure who was happier. Jeovany or Tricia with the final bike. A tie.
We are headed to Big Bear for UnPredict Your Wednesday this week after the shop closes on Tuesday to ride in the dark, camp and ride on Wednesday. Join us if you can.
Christian has been riding a Maverick from us for 10 years. He picked it up in Hollywood long long ago. Recently he sent his Waterford back to Waterford for a paint job and refresh to be a gravel grinder. Jeovany spent a lot of time getting it just right. So good.
