Jeff has been thinking about a new mountain bike for a couple years. He had rented from us a long time ago and was waiting for the right moment to buy a bike. Thanks Jeff.

Scott wanted something for the fire roads. Gravel friendly and bit more aggressive. The Surly Crosscheck fit the bill. Here he is with his new bike. Excellent choice.

We camped at the Oak Flat Fire Lookout Tower

We drove up to the very bottom of the Sequoia and camped in the Tower. (You can reserve them through recreation.gov) Very fun night, camp and then we rode the trail below it for the day. A terrific 24 hours.
